  • Dial 911. **Power failures or other wide spread utility problems SHOULD NOT BE REPORTED to 911. The volume of calls from persons in the affected neighborhood or throughout the Freeport community, overwhelm the 911 system and prevent true emergency calls from getting through. PLEASE CALL THE UTILITY COMPANY OR THE NON-EMERGENCY PHONE AT 516-378-0700.

  • Copies of reports may be obtained at the Police Clerical Office (enter through main door of Village Hall and follow the signs) between the hours of 9:30AM to 3:30PM. Arrangements may be made to pick up reports after hours, call 516-377-2474 to arrange for this service. The cost of obtaining a police report is $.25 per page (Cash Only). Photo ID is required.
