Our facility is open year-round and offers numerous programs and facilities for both residents and non-residents of Freeport.

Our basketball court is open for free-play basketball, volleyball, and other recreational sports.

Annual Bowling Awards Ceremony held at the Freeport Recreation Center in April 2002. The bowling program is offered for Freeport residents age 7 through 18 by the Recreation Department from September through April.

Recent renovations to the Freeport Recreation Health Wing include a new Universal workout station, and Arc Trainers in our excercise rooms. This is in addition to the already added new equipment in both excercise rooms.

The outdoor Olympic pool will be open on weekends in June, and every day thereafter for the rest of the summer. The pool will close on Labor Day.

Diving tank at the Freeport Recreation Center is open all summer long. Diving lessons are available through the summer for a limited number of students. The diving tank will close on Labor Day.
