Annapolis Sailboats Come to Freeport
Freeport is hosting the U.S. Naval Academy's Sail Training Squadron. The six sailing vessels will arrive in Freeport on Friday, August 8th, and will be docked at the Esplanade on Woodcleft Avenue until Tuesday, August 12th.

The visit by approximately 70 midshipmen and their instructors is always a special occasion for Freeport. It offers the midshipmen an opportunity to view our revitalized Nautical Mile, all the while providing residents and visitors a chance to tour the U.S. Naval Academy's sailboats, meet the midshipmen, and learn more about the Annapolis program.
